Linda, I hear ya about the being scared part and the horror stories suddenly turning up! I just heard the hospital where my cousin works has now stopped the surgery because they think its too risky and have had too many issues. I was like...sounds like the surgeon may not be so good. I guess I just put my faith in God and in my surgeon You hang in there and remember for the EGD take a deep breath (once you get the meds) and blow out and just totally relax and try to go to sleep! best of luck!
