Hey Debbie, Those pills were torture crushing but it ends after about a month. I no longer can tolerate applesauce because of it's association with pills. The Actiagal goes on for six months. It's actually not as big as some of the multi-vitamins, or calcium options out there. Hang in there, Rob

Carla - sorry I missed this before - this helped me not drink with meals..... I Stopped bringing my iced tea to the table with my meal. At first post op I'd get my food & drink ready, bring it all to the computer or table without really thinking about it - that is how I'd always done it. Then I realized I was taking little sips... And that is when I stopped preparring drinks and meals at the same time. As for the thirst, you are most likely a little dehydrated. They say that by the time you are thirsty you are already dehydrated. It is hard the first few months to get enough fluid in, you really have to work at it. I add 3-5 ice cubes to my drinks - even protein shakes. I usually go through almost 1 tray per day - that is an extra 18 - 24 ounces that I didn't even know I had!

Your right Carla, no drinking due to the false feeling of being full which will make you snack and that's a no-no. Listen to the doctor Ruby [email protected]
