Insurance co has no record...

Get this... my insurance stuff was submitted a couple weeks ago, and today they tell me (after 3 different phone numbers) that they have no record of it. Imagine that, why am I Not Surprised ! So, here we go.. phone tag. sigh.......... and only 13 days to go.. anyone have any helpful hints for United Healthcare? Tina

Tina, I think we need to go to work for these insurance companies. NOT. They keep screwing up royally. Them and the num-nut dr's offices help. I got a call yesterday from Marie at Dr. Irgau's that if my Primary didn't send Them the last 2 years more information that they requested then my surgery date will be cancelled. I marched out to Hockessin and asked what the problem is?????? The Primary and the front nurse both told me they mailed it to Aetna on the 8th. Never copied in Dr. Irgau even though I requested it on a letter that I wrote and gave to them over 2 weeks ago. I then asked for a phone so I could call Aetna to see if they received it. I was on hold 25 minutes before I finally got someone at Aetna to check my case worker who finally admitted to getting the paperwork this AM. I was willing to take my files and re-copy them then drive all the way to King of Prussia personally. I stayed at the office and I called Dr. Irgau's office. Of course they are out to lunch from 12 to 2pm. (Kept getting the answering service with ( my Oldest daughter's voice is on it.) She is in Communications at Christiana and her voice is on the recording's for all the DR's offices that use their service. ). Boy I wasn't too happy either. So who know what's gonna happen at this point. It's not over until this fat lady sings. LOL I'll believe it when I see it. Frustrating. Elissa
