Oprah's topic today is going to be Gastric by-pass!

Hi Thanks for the re-cap of the show. Someone just told me about it today. I dont know how true this is but... a few months ago I had heard that oprah did a show on gastric bypass patients and she really was against the surgery apparently she had made statements that "it was the easy way out" yatta yatta... I remember reading boards the next day regarding her outlook on it and people were up in arms about the bad things she had said about gastric bypass surgery and the people that decided to do it and said "I did it without surgery..." etc... Again...I did not see the show so I don't know for sure but it sounds like now she maybe had time to think about it and find out a bit more information and give it a fair shot this time. Its nice to have these celebraties come out and share their journey's with us so that people can understand that this is a medical necessity. Who wants to live in pain for another 10 years wondering is this diet going to be the one that does it for me? And in the mean time our health is deteriorating to an even more critical level. And thanks to Oprah for giving it a fair shot this time and giving everyone the opportunity to share their stories. Best wishes on your journey Blessings Elizabeth M
