ANGEL DUTIES ~ Carla Update

I don't have much information just yet, but I do know that Carla is out of surgery and went into recovery at 10:30 am. Will update after her husband calls me with more information. Just thought you all may be as anxious as I was to get information and I rushed in here to post the moment I heard!!! Updates to follow in this thread!

Okay guys ... Update time again!!! I just talked to Carla's husband and he said that he has not seen her yet because she is still in recovery, but when he talked with the docs, they said she came through the surgery very well. BTW ~ hubby is every bit as sweet as his darling wife!!! I will update once I have a room number for the Clown-a-grams!!!

Wonderful! I was thinking of her today while I was over at Omega seeing the cardio. I'm so glad she came through well. Thanks for the update!

Thanks for the lastest news on CJ. I talked to my daughter at the hospital. Evidently the clown is a volunteerr & roams from room to room. I said as soon as I knew Carla's last name and room I'd let her know. Maybe she can get the clown to CJ's room. She didn't think he was there every day. One can only hope. Elissa

Okay Guys ... it is my honor to tell you that Carla is in her room now. You may send well wishes via email at http://www.christianacare.org/about_cchs/about_cchs_volunteer.cfm#message Room # 5011-B Christiana Hospital I checked with the hospital and they said it would be alright to just use only her first name to be safe rather than post her last name on the internet. They assured me that she would still recieve all her wonderful well wishes as long as the room number and first name are correct!!! Hugs to each and everyone of you!!! Thanks so much for your support of Carla!!!

Tammy, You have done a specatular job as Carla's angel. I realized I wasn't even worried about her because she has such a great support group. Hope that she gets out on Friday. I sent her a note directly, but if you see her soon, tell her I am rooting for her. Rob
