Good Morning everyone!!! ...
Good Morning everyone!!!
I had a couple of "WOW" moments that I wanted to share with my "family" on the DE board. I hope you all don't mind.
I have been playing around with about 3 - 5 pounds for awhile now (not an unusual pattern in my weight loss so far) ... well anyway, as of yesterday, I can officially say ... I have lost 50 lbs!!! I had seen the scales tottle around 227 for about a week but I did not want to call my half century mar****il the 227 was solid. I am so excited!!! Can you believe it ... only 2 months out and already down 50 lbs. I know that I am not losing as fast as some but I am okay with that cause I am losing. And here is a couple of other cool things I found last night.
Now I am only 71 pounds above the average weight of people my height and gender. Only 71 pounds!!!
Plus, I am only 2 pounds away from no longer being Morbidly Obese... My current BMI is 40.02, well on my way to "only" severely obese. Soon to hit that 39.9 BMI!!!
Oh, plus I sit down yesterday and crossed my legs (without help from my hands *grin*) ... I did not even realize I had done it the suddenly it hit me ... I jumped up and went and found my hubby and made him come back to the couch with me and watch me cross my legs. I am certain he thought I had jumped off the deep end ... but he watched and smiled and encouraged me just the same.
These Wow moments are truly precious!!!
Thanks for letting me share ... I felt that I was about to bust if I held it in any longer!!! *grin*
Have a great day everyone!!! BTW Carla is probably being taken into surgery right now!!! Go Carla ... what a wow day you are going to have!!!
Hugs,
Tammy
Thank you Karen. You are such a sweetie ... always there to encourage. God Bless you!
As for the nuts ... I know what you mean. I love mine. This is a huge hit in our home!!! Can't wait until I become more adventurous and try out more recipes!!! But that will likely be a while as I am slow to change *grin*
Have a great day ... And BTW, I am thrilled that you have your connection at work again.
Hugs!!!
Oh I fogot to mention ... On the other site, I am having somewhat of a problem finding reply's to messages. I will get it all figured out sooner or later, but I happened to notice last night when I popped in, a reply from you to me. I mistakenly closed the window and then could not find it again. So please forgive me for what likely seems like my ignoring your post. I will get try to get it all figured out as soon as I can.
Hugs again!!!
Hi Tammy!
I am so excited for you!! It is such an amazing step when something new pops up that thin people take for granted!! I know I was excited when I realized I could cross my legs and these days I am excited to show people that I really do have collar bones!! Hee hee! I think your weight loss is excellent! I am still throttling with getting below 200..... only 2 lbs to go but it seems to be taking forever!!
I love to read people sharing their "accomplishments" with their weight loss! Thin people just don't understand the excitement! So many small things are taken for granted! These are the times we truly need to thank God for giving us the chance to feel good about the small things again!! Peace!! Hope
Hey you are doing great. And your right, it is those little things (or big ones) that keep you motivated. I am hesitant to list my weight loss until I get the official weigh-in on Thursday at Dr. Irgaau's office. I'll post after our meeting.
I think that I have gone from morbidly obese to very obese, and then will be on my "weigh" to OverWeight.
