Hi, all! I am taking everyone's advice about doing something for me and getting my hair done. I wanted to share (ahem...a second time! ) the info about the place I'm considering going to. http://www.schillingdouglas.com/beauty_services.html My friend at work is going to school here and they offer some great prices. Keep in mind...it IS a school...hence the signed waiver and the low prices. Just thought others might enjoy a nice new do!! I'm going for the dual tones...possibly a dark auburn with blond chunked highlights. It looks awesome together!! (((hugs))) -Karen Lap RNY 11/04/03 265/230/165

Well I took cosmetology in high school (I do my own hair now...that is why it looks like this... really though with the products on the market today just about anyone can!) If it makes you feel any better (at least in my school) the teachers or a senior student are always nearby to make sure things are going well. I'm thinking abotu cutting a row of bangs back in... what do you think? It took 2 years to grow my bangs out so now I just keep thinking... do you really want to do it??? But they have been grown out for almost 2 years too.... so change could be good.

hey hope, i have been a stylist and salon owner for 13 years doing hair in the states and in europe. maybe we could all get together and have a makeover weekend party! i wouldn't charge anyone for the work, but only for the products used. i think it would be alot of fun, plus i would get to meet all you crazy upper state people. fran van

OMG? I graduated from Brown Tech, 1967 in Cosmetology. 36 years ago. I stopped doing hair in a salon about 25 yrs ago because I became single and the benefits sucked then. But I never gave up my license, and I still have family, neighbors and friends that I do. This hubby built a salon in my basement for me to use. Too funny. Since my job was downsized I was considering going into one of the nursing homes to do little old ladies hair a couple days a Week. After surgery & recovery I am going to look into it. Can you say it must have been in the water/shampoo? LOL Let me know. I'm in for it EH

Hi Gals..Let me tell you from personal experience my friend Marge and I did things like pedicures and makeovers and stuff like that every month as a reward for doing so well with the weight loss..IT definitely makes you feel good!!! and for some reason with weightloss everyone seems to go blonde... I know i did!!! ha ha ha
