~Angel reporting for duty~
Hi, everybody! I apologize that the update is tardy...today was my first full day back at work...and I had ZERO systems access. I just got home and called the hospital. Spoke to both Debbie's mom and Debbie. She is doing wonderful. It amazes me how both Debbie and Beth sounded so chipper and alert on the night of their surgeries! I don't remember sounding anything like that! In fact, the only thing I remember i****ting the morphine pump.
In any case, here's the scoop! Debbie got a call this morning from Dr. Wynn's office asking her if she could come in EARLIER as they had a cancellation (who was that, I wonder?). So...she's finished up what she was doing and high-tailed it to the hospital. She went in to surgery at 10:00 but had to stay in recovery until 5:00 because she kept 'forgetting' to breath. She would start breathing again when they called her name... They kept her on the cpap machine for this reason.
She was finally moved to her room just recently and is doing very well. She says there is very little pain and she's just a little bit uncomfortable, but other than that, she's feeling great. Her mom and sister are still there with her and her SIL and niece were there earlier.
Debbie's info: Rm# 5011A Phone# 733-5011
She said she hasn't seen any clowns yet, AMOS buddies! lol Here is the link to send her an email at the hospital. Send in the clowns!!!!

Will post Debbie's status again soon (hopefully tomorrow afternoon if I get my systems access back at work!). If not, as soon as I get home.

HUGS Karen!!!
No, I DID not do that!!
Thanx for posting the correct link... Can you say 'frazzled'?? I have a friend at work who goes to school @shilling douglas (graduates this year), and since my system was down at work, I had her send me the info to my home address.
So...hmmm..for those that are interested (haha) I am considering getting some high and low tones done! It looks really, really cool (duo-tone chunking) and it only costs $30 at the school, as opposed to over $100 at a salon. Another field trip?? I'm thinking about going in maybe two weeks (payday). I need to do something new with my hair to match my 'new emerging' body.
Sorry, Debs!
(((hugs)))
