Hi - I am wondering if there is anyone from our group that will be at the meeting at PMRI on Sat. that takes those calcium citrate chewables? I keep hearing about them and I want to try them but I am so picky with chewables that I hate the thought of buying a bottle to find out I hate it. Well, picky & cheap If so I'm wondering if I could bribe someone into bringing one of thier's so I could try it. I have calcium carbonte "chocolate" chewables that were an excellent price at walmart and I'd be happy to bring some if anyone wants to try them. They taste okay but I want to make the switch to citrate. I also have some packs of Met-RX lite protein powder that I'm not crazy about. It is vanilla flavor if anyone wants a pack just let me know & I'll bring it. Happy New Year

Hi Kathy, I don't have any calcium chewables for you to try, but I'd love to try a pack of your Met Rx protein to see if I like it. Thanks - See you Saturday! ((hugs))

Kathy, Do you not like the taste of Tums? That's where I'm going to get my calcium. I know they also have ones they call "smooth desolve" but I've found they are twice as expensive. I'd try one of your sample packs as well if it's sweetened with sucralose. I like your comment too about the generic Equal, but I get allergic reactions to sweet low and equal so I'm sticking with spenda, so far so good! Have a great day!

No I don't like tums but I eas taking rolaids before switching to the ones that are like viativ. But there is this great calcium debate over calcium citrate verses calcium carbonate. Supposedly citrate is absorbed better. SO - I figured why not switch but the pills I found I would have had to take too many a day, so when I heard about the citrate chewables I thought I'd try them.
