I HAVE A SUPER WALMART!!!

I found a Super Walmart fairly close to me!!! YIPPIE!!! Not quite sure where everyone is from but thought I would post the info anyway!!! Word is, that they are building a new Super Walmart in Elkton!! Won't that be great!!! ((hugs)) Cj

I would be REALLY loving that!!! But for now ... this walmart is not too far away ... about 30/35 minutes ... and a very easy drive!!! So until Elkton gets it's Super Walmart ... I have found my place to hang out at!!! *grin* BTW ~ Do you know where they plan to put the one in Elkton at? Hubby and I tried to figure it out and we couldn't. OH and also ... I was in the Walmart in Aberdeen about a year ago and one of the elderly gentlemen that worked there told me that they were putting in a Super Walmart there in the near future. Now I don't know what he calls near ... but it has been a little over a year since he told me that! *grin*

I believe they are breaking ground up near the Bentley's restaurant. Closer to the Delaware line. As far as the Aberdeen Walmart - I had not heard that about them. I was in there today (to get my slippers) and they closed their "cafe" for remodeling - maybe they consider that "super" ??

Hi Tammy, Word has it that the new super wallyworld in Elkton will be on Rt 40. Right over the state line kind of behind Bentley's restaurant ( the old Swiss Inn ) I live right across the way in Buckhill Farms and can see Bentley's from my house. No actual store construction has started yet but they have been working all night every night along 40 upgrading all the sewage pipes etc. I was wondering if that was part of the preparation. We also heard that Target was going into the current Walmart site as well as a Ruby Tuesdays. I will let you know if I see them digging anything up to build! I wish they'd put a Trader Joes closer to the MD/DE line - I'd love to go up to TJ's on Saturday -- sounds like fun, but I don't want to say yes, until I've consulted with my copilot... I'll let you know.... ((hugs))
