Last December I was researching weight loss surgery. I knew smoking had to go. I decided to make myself quit for 6 months before calling a surgeon, I wanted to make sure I could commit to a serious life style change. I am proud to say I called a surgeon the following May and just recently got a tentative surgery date of April 14. Today I celebrate one year smoke free I use a website that helped me alot. It has a free membership and aslo a premium membership that offers a few more features. I typed in my zipcode and it turns out my local health dept is a sponsor there and the premium membership was free. Each day is what we make of it, I hope yours is a great one!

Congrats - I quit smoking a long time ago & it is sometimes still a struggle. That is no small feat.

Linda, Go Girl Go. I have been smoke free 11 years. One more crutch to throw away. It is a lot of work to be healthy. Look at all of journeys to be as healthy as we can. EH
