Ultra sound of abdomen & gall bladder ??

I was going over some of the papers that I have in my WLS folder. Way back on my 1st visit to the DR's office I found a sheet that said I had to go to the Pulminary & Cardiologist. Done and okay. It also mentioned an ultra soud of the abdomen and gall bladder. I never had it done. I am on pins & needles. until I can call Dr. Irgau's office this AM to find out about it and my insurance to see if it has been approved yet. I am now 37 days pre-op. I sure hope I'll still have time to get this done if I need to. Any thoughts or advice!!!!!! Elissa

Hi Elissa, I didn't have those particular tests listed on mine. I'm sure tho if they want you to have them you can call around a bit and explain the situation and hopefully someone can squeeze you in. Remember to ask for the cancellation lkist too if your schedule is flexible. Keep us posted, Linda

I had the tests at Papastravos Imaging. I called for an appointment and was able to get in within the week. They are very helpful.

I talked to Vernice (sp) at the Dr's office, she said if I needed the abdomen ultra sound they would have called me. WHEWW!! I also left a message for Marie and she called me back to let me know Aetna wants 2 years of history from Primary DR. stating that I have been morbidly obese and what I've tried to do as far as medications & tests. I called his office and he is writing a letter for me so I can drop off at Dr. Irgau's office to go to Aetna also. All that worry for nothing. Thanks everyone for your quick responses.
