CJ & Tina, Thanks for your words of encouragement, this is the 1st time in 40 years I have been unempolyed. I've made a list of my friends and have talked to or emailed them in the last 3 days to let them know I am one of them. Mike, Carolyn, Adrienne, Sherry, Carol, Paula, Harry, Lew, Kathy, Phil, Al, John. They all tell me there is a life after "Xerox". I guess I'm finding out there really is. I have made so many new friends on my journey. I am excited about my surgery next month. I am still scared a little. Seems like I keep leaving my life in God's hands and He keeps guiding my way. I am truely truely blessed and walking with my hand in His Hand. My husband is so supportive and the folks at my PMRI support group, this site. I do feel like this is all happening for a reason and I'm not in control anymore. Take it away and do with me what you want Lord. I am yours. The last hurdle to jump over is waiting to hear from the DR's office that the health care is approved. Keeping my fingers crossed. I will update as soon as I get the news. EH

I'm with you Elissa!! I'm glad this is a support system that is full of such wonderful people! I'll pray that you get good news soon from the Dr's office!! I had my EGD today -- all went well, I get the final results tomorrow when I call Dr.Wynn. If all is cleared with this - I only have 20 days till surgery....woooooohoooooooo!!! Talk to you soon! CJ, I never had an EGD. I guess I din't need one. I'm glad you did okay. What were the results? Keep posting news. ((HUGS)) EH

Hi Elissa, the results, well....I have some bacteria that causes ulcers in my stomach, so Dr.Wynn is going to give me a prescription that should take care of it so that I can still have the surgery!!! Talk to you soon... ((hugs)) Carla
