Whoo-hoo!!! Raising my last 'big 'ol holiday meal' glass, too!!!...er, wait a minute. DARN! I CAN'T do that...I'm already post-op!!! lol Oh, well...I did enjoy my couple of bites of turkey and couple of bites of Susan Maria's green bean casserole. Watched everybody else chow down on pecan pie, candied yams, crescent rolls w/butter, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed cooking everything...the house smelled wonderful. And I'm happy to report the the little bites I took (and chewed thoroughly!!) went down well and have stayed well. Of course, I checked and rechecked labels of what I prepared, just to be on the safe side. I was FULL after just a few bites, though. (Can you imagine??? On THANKSGIVING day, a day I would normally STUFF myself to oblivian!) And initially, I was scared to 'mix' the foods together...have never done that before (since the 4th). I'm so excited... a whole new world beyond tunafish! lol (Uh-oh! She's gonna break out in song now!! A whole new wooorrrrrrld.... Is there an emotican for that???) Of course, the fav leftover turkey sandwiches are totally out of the question... But that's OK...I'm so happy with this milestone! It's all good. And I feel so blessed about this lifestyle change and all the wonderful AMOS friends in my life. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!!!! (((hugs))) -Karen
