Good morning, everybody! Does anyone know where I can find SF FF Carnation Instant Breakfast locally??? Any store I go to, it's always just the regular, if at all. I also spent an inordinate amount of time yesterday in the grocery store. I had a few things to pick up and I found myself checking ALL kinds of labels. I'm amazed at what I can have now and what I can't. I thought I hit the jackpot with Corned Beef Hash in a can at 21 grms of protein!!! Yeah, 'till I saw the fat grams at about the same! Thanx, guys!!! (((hugs))) -Karen

hey, i think you can find it at walmart. but CIB really isn't a good thing to use. it doesn't have that much protien or nutrients. i hated the taste of my chocolate protein shake untill i add 1/2 a splenda packet and 2 tablespoons sugar free smuckers natural peanut better (adds 10 more grams of protien). if i get hungry in the evening instead of snacking i drink sugar free international coffees. the warm feeling makes me feel full. our foodlion in harrington has a lowcarb section now. sugarfree blue bunny yogurt from walmart is really good. i also like string cheese(this i can take with me on the go).

Oh my goodness ladies. I just went for my 2 week check-up with Dr. Irgau. And they have protein suppliments available now. I purchased a "package" of different items for only $20.00. I have only had the cream of brocolli soup for lunch, but it was SO GOOD!!! I want to go back tomorrow and get MORE, MORE, MORE!!! They have everything, fruit drinks, shakes, hot chocolate, coffees, teas, soups. I think I have found my protein suppliments!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fran, I emailed you with the information. The samples I have did not have a brand name on them. Tammy

Thanx for the info, guys! I can't yet put SF peanut butter in my protein drink ( at least I don't think I can) so I'm trying to find another temp solution. Tammy, thanx for the new protein tip!! I have to stop by there tomorrow to drop off my short-term disability paperwork to Dr. Wynn...and I'm going to purchase a box! (You have to understand...Tammy was soooo excited about how the stuff tasted, she just HAD to call and tell me all about it, too!! Yuk, yuk) Until then, I'm watering down FF SF pudding to a thin milkshake consistancy. Not bad!! (Thanx for THAT tip, too, Tammy!) (((hugs))) -Karen

it's ok to have the sf peanut butter(atleast that is what my doctor said).i don't mean to sound weird, but what is the deal with the ff sf pudding milkshake? wouldn't a protein shake be better? i have also mixed the sugar free international coffee (mocha) in my protien shake for better taste.

Hi, Fran... No, you don't sound weird!! But I guess my post did. I meant to say that I add a scoop of protein to the pudding shake...so, in essence, it IS a protein shake. My kind. lol And thanx for the SF peanut butter tip! (((hugs))) -Karen

Btw, everybody.... I'd thought I'd list the places that have been recommended for the SF Carnation Instant Breakfast hunt... * Super Wal-mart * Shop-Rite (First State Plaza...Newark) * Super G (Rt 40...Newark) ( I found it here!) * Giant in Kennett Square, PA (if you really have a craving for the multi-flavored box. This info came from Carnation itself.) Hope this helps! (((hugs))) -Karen
