Hi Elizabeth, I wish you the best as well! I'm new here too. I live in Newark and just sent off my filled out forms to Dr. Smoot's office in Seaford, DE. I was trying for Dr Wynn un here at Christiana Hospital but her consultations are scheduled out till December with the surgery 6-9 months after that! I don't think I c an wait another year for this. I am 5'9" tall and weigh 370#. Everything hurts. Can't walk, can't sit long as legs go to sleep. This is like a miracle that my PCP thinks this is a viable solution. I'm just hoping everything goes well with the insurance so I can get a consultation with the surgeon and get scheduled. Where are you on your journey? I notice you are in Elkton, maybe we can support each other. I know I could sure use someone to talk to sometimes. Blessings, Merry Merry

I would like to wish you all the luck.. I have seen Dr Gail Wynn, she is great. Even though she was not my doctor who proformed my wls. She is my follow up doctor. Who I am ashamed to admit I have not kept up with my follow up regeim.. I had my surgery in dec. 2000 in Philadelphia.. Due to it was not being offered here in Newark at that time.. Yes I do wish I would have waited for Dr. Wynn she is a GOD SENT!!! Keep us updated Elizabeth.. Again Good LUCK!! Tammy
