Going into my 4th week post op
Hi everyone,
I had my lapband surgery on 1-26 and i've lost 30 lbs. so far. It has not been easy. I've went off of it a couple of times, but get back on. I go to my next appointment March 3. I'm going to ask for a fill. I guess after a month they can give me a fill i'm not sure. I feel hungry all the time. I'm up to eating 1/2 cup per meal. Starting Wed. I can eat 3/4 cups per meal. I'm also allowed 3 crackers or a 1/2 piece of toast with the crust cut off. For lunch yesterday I ate 1/4 cup of tuna and a 1/4 cup of no fat cottage cheese. I mixed them together and put it on the toast. It was very good. I don't think I will be going back to using mayonaise in my tuna. Yesterday I sprinkled my food with flaxseed because of constipation, but I found I felt more full after eating. I guess it's the fiber in the flaxseed. Does anyone have any suggestions on food that is filling? Please share if you do.
Thanks,
Mary
