Hello from Lower Slower Delaware
Good Evening from Lower Slower Delaware ! Just me checking in to see how everyone is doing. It seems like it has been forever since I have been on here. Debbie and I are both doing good. We both have been very busy. We were working taking care of a 93 year old man in his home ( POPPOP). He passed away about 3 weeks ago. We both took it hard for he was like family. Debbie's boyfriend ( Kent) has had alot of health issues and Debbie's hernia has come back. She is using it as her Golden ticket finally and has an appointment this month with a plastic surgeon. As for me I started dating and actually have met someone who has had gastric bypass. Didn't know it when we met but discovered it over our lunch conversation. He eats very healthy so that will help to keep me on track too. Maybe he was God sent. Enough about us how is everyone doing ? How is the support group going ? We do miss you guys and will have to get up to a group soon. See you Lighter. Joanne

Belinda, I don't know of any support groups in your area except for Lapbanders. They are doing more Lapbands today so support for RNY has gone down. If you really need the support it is worth going north. Feel free to call me anytime. My new numbers are (302) 945-2597 home or (302)727-8401 Cell. I cont . to struggle daily but I have been steady for 3 years at my same weight. after gaining 40 lbs back. I try to think I am still down 108 lbs. and accept where I am. I would love to lose 60 lbs but I'm done beating myself up over it. Just counting my blessings daily. Best of luck to you. Do your best each day and remember I am here to listen if you ever want to talk. See you lighter. Joanne
