VSG and BCBS of DE

So I found out from CHRIAS this week that back in Aug, BCBS effective immediatly was only going to cover the VSG if your BMI was over 50. So now I am still going to put it thru for VSG and then appeal as I am not going to have LapBand or RNY.
Just curious if anyone else has run into this problem with BCBS and if you did appeal did you win?
