I need to find a Psychiatrist

I have Amerihealth HMO and I need to find a Psychiatrist to get a clearance letter. Anyone have any names for me?

Hi Mary,

Are you have your surgery at CHRIAS?  If you are, you will be scheduled an appt with one at PMRI.  If you're not having your surgery at CHRIAS, call PMRI directly as the psych's there can evaluate you for surgery and give clearance.

I'm having my surgery at Crozier Medical Center in Chester. That's the only place I could find to take my insurance. Dr. Leon Katz is my Dr. He seem real nice and caring. I think I'll have to pay out of pocket to get the Psych. elval. done. I can't seem to find anyone that takes my ins. I had my second nutritional appt. today. I showed her the info on the 28p bread you bought. She said it look real good. She asked me to bring in the bag if I buy it so she can tell people about it.  I can't wait to get this operation behind me.

Hi Mary,

I would still contract PMRI (Preventative Maintenance &  Rehabilitation Institute)  it's a part of Christiana Hospital.  the number is 302-661-3000. 

There is also a support group that meets 3rd Tuesday of every month at the
John H. Ammon Medical Education Center rm #1 located at the Christiana Hospital.
6-8pm.  Come late, leave early.  Just come!
You don't have to have had your surgery there to attend, all are welcome.

 Mary -  I'm also having my surgery done by Dr Katz. I just did my pysch eval in the beginning of the month by Dr Andrew Borson at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park. I have Personal Choice and he only charged my for my co-pay. Let me know if you need his information.

Yes, Please give me more info. I live in Newark, How far is it from Delaware? I have to have my husband drive me. Have trouble driving. Can't turn my neck to good, had my cervical spine operated on.

It's 3 more exits past the exit for CCMC. I live right outside of Elsmere and it took me 30 minutes

Thank you so much for the info. When are you scheduled for your surgery? I guess I can schedule my surgery date once I see Dr. Borson. Hopefully my ins. will cover his visit. I have everything else done. I go for my last nutrition appt. this Sat.

 Jan 12th is my surgery date. I still have my cardio and 3rd appt. with Rachel.
