At the preview, you’ll be able to sample weight-loss surgery friendly holiday dishes and sides, learn about making healthy swaps at the family holiday get-together and see demonstrations on how to make sweet holiday protein treats!

 

If you are in the MD/VA/DC/PA area (or if you just feel like driving to Baltimore), trust me: you don’t want to miss this!

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Nikki and I am co-owner of Pouch Party, a company that does interactive, fun cooking demonstrations for weight loss surgery patients of all surgery types in homes and support group settings. Can one of you PM me your e-mail addresses? I am tracking interest via Evites. Also, I'd like to send you a flier for the party that you can show to anyone you think might be interested in coming. If someone says they'd be interested, I'd need their address to send out the Evite. The Evite has all the pertinent information on it (exact time, location, ticket information, etc.)

I hope you guys can come! My partner Jen and I have been pouring over recipes deciding which ones to fix for this. Whatever we choose, I think it's going to be a great time!

I'm interested, too. Keep me in the loop, please!  I won't be able to make the Sept 21st meeting though (unless I arrive late), as I have a workshop scheduled for that night. I don't know what time it will end, but it starts at 5:45 in Newark.

I also like Amy's idea...maybe we could have them do a demo at one of the support meetings sometime. The holiday party looks like fun, and I'd like to go.

We’d love to come to Delaware! Currently Pouch Party™ automatically covers the tri-state areas of both Jen (who lives in NJ) and I (Maryland).

 

The holiday preview, however, is a bit different from a regular Pouch Party™. I don’t want to bombard you with minute details, but the holiday preview is going to be a much larger event, with more food and holiday “survival tips" than a normal Pouch Party would have. We’re hoping to draw folks from a large area and I hope you guys will be able to come too.
