what snacks do you eat every day....inquiring minds want to know...
I usually have three snacks a day.
mid morning
piece of fruit
container of low fat,lite yogurt
5 triscuits
or
piece of fruit
whole wheat english muffin
Trader Joe's peanut butter
after lunch
protein shake whi*****ludes a scoop of Unjury protein, fruit and a cup of skim milk
after dinner
piece of low fat cheddar cheese 1oz
or
100 calorie popcorn

Ok, but you have to remember that I had the DS, so my snacks are going to be different. Plus, I'm 4 years postop, so I can eat!
Snacks can be:
2 hormel pepperoni sticks (1 oz each) & 2 pepper jack cheese sticks (Target brand)
4 oz cheddar melted on 9 rosemary & olive oil triscuits
1/3 c. peanut butter on a pop-rice, topped with 1/4 c. M&Ms.
leftover meat from dinner the night before (if there is any!)
apple or celery with peanut butter
popcorn loaded with butter
nuts or trail mix from Trader Joe's
any kind of full-fat cheese (but not bleu, because I hate that stuff!)
On rare occasion, I've had a protein shake, but I make them in the blender with ice and half & half, because I like them thick and milkshakey.
