Recipe: Pumpkin Pie Protein Shake

Do you like pumpkin pie?  Yes?  Then you will love this!


1/4 c. canned pumpkin
2 Tbsp. lowfat cream cheese
cinnamon (to taste)
3-4 packets splenda
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
a few ice cubes
4-5 ounces water (more or less depending on the consistency you like)

Blend in magic bullet or blender.

This is yummy.  Tastes just like pumpkin pie filling and I can't taste the protein at all.

This should be a good use for all of the excess pumpkin I bought when I was afraid they were going to have a pumpkin shortage.  I'll probably substitute yogurt for the cream cheese.

When I made it, I actually substituted Greek yogurt for the cream cheese.
Added a nice bite to it!

That sounds good.  Heading down to Trader Joes to buy some Greek yogurt.
