For all that celebrate it, I hope you had a happy one!

We do the Easter Bunny, but not church.  My DD loved her Easter Basket this morning, and I got to see that she completely takes after me - the bunny's ears went first.  After lunch, we took a long walk to Bellevue State Park where we played on the swings and slides (yes, me too!).  I got to feel the sun on my bare arms and legs, because the weather was soooo beautiful!  After walking home, I told her that we'd walked a little over 3 miles, not counting the playing.

Dinner was nice - I got a spiral-sliced ham, fixed a sweet potato casserole, macaroni & cheese, and cole slaw.  We're going to have leftovers for a week!  We're all watching a movie now, just enjoying being together.  How about you?  Was it a good one?

Happy Easter to you too!  (a day late... but still the same!)  My family has our Easter dinner the evening before so that others may go to the in-laws on Easter!  This year we went to Dutch Heritage, an Amish Restaurant, and feasted!  OMGosh!  I love this place!

The DH and I went to church Easter morning and sat with very dear friends of ours who we only get to see when they are home to visit their parents.  Then we spent the day enjoying the sun, outdoors and our fur-babies!  I roasted a turkey breast, had mashed potatoes, gravy and succotash!  Finised it off with a scrumptious piece of pumpkin bread from the Amish restaurant.

Now back to school... spring break is over.  Bummer

Hi Bronwen,
My family had a great Easter!  This year my daughter, 14, actually asked me to limit the candy and wanted a Lacrosse stick instead.  No problem there!
We went to my sisters in Maryland.  Food was great!  Too many leftovers.
My sister had the eggs already hidden when we arrived.  My son said doesn't she know we are too old for an Easter egg hunt,  (she then mentioned she put money in most of the eggs) then he yelled I'M FIRST!!!
It was a great day!
Judy
