Do I start over? Or how do I go about doing this?

I had a consultation with Dr. Wynn a longgg time ago & it went good. I started my appointments, got clearance from the cardiologist & had a sleep study done. But then I realized that my support was non existent & I was having trouble getting to my appointments (I don't drive). So I canceled all of my appointments & decided to wait until I was able to be more serious about this. So, fast forward ahead a few months- my best friend got his surgery on Tuesday (Feb. 23rd) & I'm jealous to say the least. LOL. Anyway, while we were waiting for him to come out of surgery, I was talking to his Mom & she said that if I make the appointments that she'll make sure I get to all of them. I came home & told my Mom about what she said & now all of a sudden my Mom is being really supportive & urging me to call the surgeon's office. I'm going to call today- but do I explain the situation to them? Or do I call for another consultation? Or what?

Also, my original surgeon was Dr. Wynn & although she seems like a very good doctor, I got an amazing vibe from Dr. Peters when I met him the day of my friend's surgery. I'm assuming that I'll have to start all over if I wanted to choose Dr Peters instead of Dr. Wynn.

This is so confusing!!! How does all this work??

 My suggestion would be to call their office and tell them about your situation. Ask them their professional opinion as to what needs to be done in order to become Dr. Peter's patient.  DON'T GIVE UP.  Although Dr. Wynn was my surgeon and I do like her, I agree with you about Dr. Peters.  He's much more outgoing. He sort of has a "sparkle" in his eye.     Surgery-wise, I would trust all of them.

I would trust all of them also. I really liked Dr. Wynn. She did my uncle's surgery. But I just felt more drawn to Dr. Peters. I couldn't help but pay attention to him- you know? But yeah I called the office & I have an appointment for March 31st & this time I have my Mom for support. I'm SOOOO excited. 

 March 31 will be here before you even know it.  (and hopefully the snow will be GONE!).          So glad that you're mom is now in your corner.   It's so much easier to go through this journey with support.   

Speaking of snow, I'm sick of the stuff!! Luckily I'm only seeing like a flake an hour right now in Newark. LOL But I'll let you know how my appointment with Dr. Peters goes!!
