Looking for support goups

Hello Im looking for support goups that have meetings on Thursday or Friday these are my days off I dont get off until 7pm the other days. I live in New Castle County, Newark area

Hi Elissa ~
I am preparing now for surgery, scheduled for January 26.  I read with interest your list of support groups; I definitely want to attend at least one meeting before I have my surgery.  Do you happen to know of anything in the Middletown area?  It seems like everything relatively close is located in Newark.  I wonder how difficult it would be to start a group in my neck of the woods if there is nothing in place already.

Rosemary, congrats. You are having surgery on my 6th anniversary. Obesity Help offers support group training. If you are interested then contact them on the main boards.

There is a meeting in Symrna, not far from Middletown. I attend meetings in New Castle, Wilmington and Christiana. I attended 8 sessions in Symrna recently. It was a 45 mile drive for me and worth every mile. I live on the PA/DE border. It keeps me focused and positive. Not to mention the friends I have made along the way. Starting another group is an awesome idea. There are alot of folks in Middletown area that I am sure would be interested.
