Cleared!

 It's official - I had my follow up with Dr. Kumar for cardio clearance and I'm cleared!  In fact since I gave up soda/caffeine and started eating better, my blood pressure and cholesterol have decreased!  I'm so psyched.  Only 40 days until surgery!  

I'm getting the whole mix of emotions - excitement, anxiety, concern, hopefulness, you name it!  I can't wait for the first day of the rest of my life!  =)

It's so great to have this place to come to and share excitement, get encouragement, etc.....I'm so thankful!

 Thanks everyone!  I am excited, but the nerves are starting to get me.  I'm not a pain wuss, but the idea of the pain scares me.  *sigh*  I keep saying it's going to be worth it!  And it will be.  =)

  The office told me they didnt perform VSG. When did they start?

I think it's fairly recent.  I was psyched to hear of that option.  Dr. Irgau is doing mine.  I'm excited!
