Update---Home from the Hospital
I had my RNY on Wed Sept 16th. Everything went well. I was surprised I don't have any pain at all. Dr. Wynn is the best!! The hospital staff at Christiana is first rate. Now I guess the rest is up to me. I came home Fri morning and sipped on a bottle of water all day and didn't fini**** all. How in the world am I gonna get in all my fluids?? I'm not feeling hungry.
Take care,
Vonda

I'm already a winner, now I'm ready to be a looser
Hi Vonda,
I was at Christiana and had surgery the same day with Dr. Irgau. They are the best, and I feel like you. I'm trying to get my fluids in but it does seem hard. I have a little pain when I take a deep breath, but nothing that I can't handle.
I'm not really feeling that hungry either, but I did manage to get down maybe 4oz of the health wise chicken broth soup from Chrias. It didn't taste that bad and has 15 grams of protein.
I just wanted to know how long we need to sip. I gonna have to reread some info.

Dr. Peters came in early most mornings and he was awsome... and the staff.. again first rate. I had a wonderful experience.. and no pain...
just take things slowly... don't hurry it.. and it time you will do great... 32.lbs down in two months.. unbelievable...
