Good morning Delaware !  Today is my first day of retirement. I will be heading to the gym this morning instead of work. Yesterday was a sad and happy day. I had to clear out my mail box. I only left a pink pen in it. I'm waiting to see if anyone takes my name tag off it. I offered everyone to take it off but everyone refused. I will still be working there 2 days a week as a casual seasonal. No more freezes. I did get frozen on my last day . All I could say was " Whatever ". Sorry it is back to work for most of you ! Your day will come before you know it. This song keeps playing in my head . " I"M COMING OUT ! I WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW ! I"M GOING TO LET IT SHOW ! I'M COMING OUT !  What is all up to today ? Debbie is doing well and boy does she look little now . Wait until you see her. See all lighter. Joanne

Hi Joanne,
First day of retirement? Boy am I jealous!  I can't wait to retire ( ok i have about 18 years to go)!
Glad to hear Debbie is doing better.  If I can ever have the surgery, I fear I won't heal correctly.
Enjoy your day!
Judy

I know how hard you worked and you certainly deserve good things,,,but I am soooooooooo green that you got to retire.  I guess it will happen to me someday.  Enjoy every minute of it and give my best to Debbie.

Ellen,  Thanks ! I plan to enjoy every day. Today seemed to go by so fast. Still not enough hours in a day. I have so much to do right now. I look forward to a day when I don't have to be somewhere all day long. Don't see it anytime soon. See you lighter. Joanne

Two more years. It will go by so fast. I am still working 2 days a week. Wednesdays/Thursdays. NO MORE FREEZES ( forced overtime) ! No more working weekends unless I want to help someone out. I plan on visiting family now and doing some things with my daughter and sister. My grandkids need me now more than ever. I promised Bob I would take care of them. I know I will never be able to do the job he did with them but to be honest he did to much for them. It is like training them all over. After all I am not their maid. I will guide them but not do it for them.  Will you be retiring at the beach ? See you lighter. Joanne
