Weightloss Buddy

Hello everyone

I am looking for a weightloss partner.
Someone to motavate me and I can motavate them.
 How about a walking friend?

I live in Lower Delaware (Seaford)

So if anyone lives near me, and is looking for a walking friend or
someone to talk to .. Let me know!

This a great idea!  Working with a buddy will definately help you keep your weight loss goals in the front of your mind.  My husband always nags me because I always check OH daily.
Its my way of thinking about my weight loss progress.
I don't live downstate but if you want to chat, I'm always on here so just send me a PM and i'll respond to ya!

You have came to the right place. I would sujest you get into a local support group. I run a support group in Millsboro and some of our members are from the seaford area too. Does your Dr's office have support groups ? Mind does but I had my surgery in D.C. My daughter and I go North to a support group once a month at Victory Fellowship in New Castle.. The next meeting of New Life WLS Group is this Wednesday, March 18th at 7pm, Community Church of Oak Orchard.  If you are coming from Seaford. Come down Rt 24. Go thru the light at WaWa ,thru the town, past the chicken plant. Make a right at the indian musum. Royal Farms will be on your left. Come straight down and the church is across from the firehouse. are the meetings over by 9pm? I normally leave seaford at 9pm to go to work in annapolis. I work overnights.
How long do you think it will take me from seaford to get there, so i can judge my traveling time?

It is 90 miles (or about 1-1/2 hours) from the Oak Orchard/Long Neck area to the Bay Bridge (I used to live in Annapolis before moving here to Rehoboth). The Wednesday night meetings in Oak Orchard start at 7pm and usually last an hour or so -- plus we are pretty informal and you can leave anytime you want to -- I'm usually one of the first to exit so I can get home and put the kids to bed, etc.

Are the meetings every wednesday?

I think the meetings are the first and third Wednesdays of each month, not sure how many people have been attending lately since I've been missing in action the past couple of months, though.
