Good afternoon Delaware and Friends, It is very very cold in Lower Slower Delaware today. I am so glad to see some old faces or names on here posting again. Boy you have been missed and I am so glad you are back. I would like to personally invite everyone to come out the 3rd Thursday in March to the meeting at Victory. That is Debbie and I's one night a month to see everyone from up North. If any one South would like to ride up with us let us know . Not much new with me. I kinda had a stupid WOW Moment yesterday. I had to get an MRI done. Due to my post op weight I have always had open MRI's. I had the real thing done yesterday. I fit in the machine. I told you it was stupid but for me it was an " I FIT MOMENT ". My first comment when I came out was" Has anyone ever had a heart attack in here. Of course they said no. While I was in there I was thinking there isn't much room for air in here but I was so tired from the weekend that I just relaxed. I went to WalMart in Rehobeth shopping last night. I got some really super buys. Shirts for $1, storage bins for $4 and really nice towels for $1.75. I also got my grandkids a few things reduced. Alexus wanted a HSM lamp for Christmas which was not in my budget at the time which was$20. I paid $4 for it last night. WOW !!! All I can say is " GOTTA GO TO WALMART " . What happening in your neck of the woods ? See all lighter. Joanne

Hi Joanne,
My daughter and I plan on attending the March meeting.  She had such a good time there with the people (especially Debbie)
she told my husband, if mom's going back, I'm going with her!
Good job on your wow moment.  No wow moment is too small.

Walmart is a great place when they have clearance items.  I really like shopping there.
Not much else going on.
Take care,
Judy

Judy, We must be doing something right if the kids want to come. Here's an ideal ! Tell her she has to clean her room first. I look forward to seeing you both. See you lighter. Joanne

Congats of your WOW moment.  Every little bit helps us remember where we came from and where we are now.

I am going to try to go to the Victory meeting in March.  I went to the very first one they had and I thought it was a little too religious for me but I heard it is not like that now.  I put it on my calendar and I am going to try to remember about it.

Take care and have a good week.

Ellen

Ellen, I think you will love the meeting. We do end the meeting with prayer. We have lots of laughs. Oh you must meet Debbie. The girl can't help herself and you never know what she will say. Hope to see you there. Until then, See you lighter. Joanne

Are the meetings at Victory on Tuesdays or Thursdays?  You have Thursday in your post but I had Tuesday on my calendar.

Yes, it's cold outside.  I had my "procedure" on Monday and spent the whole day and night in some pretty significant pain, but Tuesday, I had no pain at all.   We went to Staples and bought a new, smaller computer desk.  We have Karissa's bed in here now so we needed the space.  There's still some organizing to do, but for the most part, the house is coming together ok.

I've had some weight gain over the last 2 weeks or so, and it seems to fluctuate too much.  One day, I weighed in at 155 and the next day I was 161.  On Monday, I was 165, and Tuesday...171???  What the heck?  How can a person gain like that?  I figure it's fluid from having minor surgery but it's all in my upper abdomen and upper thighs.  I hate it!  Back to the basics for me, in a panic.

Sarah's house is almost done.  I feel bad about the stuff the management will have to deal with but I did what I could by removing as much as I could. All that's left is some baby stuff we are giving away and after it's all picked up, I will turn in the keys.  The deck is full of trash bags and junk to be hauled away.  Rehoboth Shores told me I am not responsible for it but I felt obligated to at least get the crap outside so they can do the inside clean-up as soon as possible and get it re-rented.  I'm still embarassed about it.
