Hello Delaware Forum:

I have been having problems for the past year or so with drops in my blood sugar. This is

evident because I start shaking, sweating and feeling very weak, almost faint. The only thing

that helps to calm this is to eat foods that are high in sugar. I am scheduled to see my primary

care doctor next week but wanted to know if anyone else experienced this and what was

recommended to help

you? Thanks.

Carol, Girl where have you been ? We have missed you. When we went to the OH conference in Pa Melting Mama was talking about this issue. You might want to email her. Please do check with your PCP asap. I have had low blood sugar with exercising or if I eat something with sugar. You get that sudden drop in sugar. Since you said eating sugar helps. Think about it ! Had you ate something with a high sugar content before this happens.  Try also writing down what you eat so you can better monitor this and discuss with your Dr. Please let us know what you find out and it will be nice to see you back at Victory in March. See you lighter. Joanne
