It's Nice...

To see some activity on the DE forum.  I check the boards from time to time but it's usually dead.

I'm Tiffany....  I live in Bear.  I had surgery on 6/26/08.  I chose the DS with Dr. Schweitzer at Johns Hopkins.  I couldn't be happier.  I'm down 76 lbs and I feel great.

I will start checking over here more frequently.  I look forward to getting to know all of my fellow Delawarians!

Welcome to the Delaware board and to the awesome loser's bench.  Feel free to post and share your ups and downs.  We try to be here for each other, we need it.  Weightloss is a journey we are all on and keeping it off once it is off isn't always easy.

There is a good support group meeting at Victory Church near Wilton in New Castle the 3rd Tuesday of the month @ 7:00 p.m.  Next meeting is Jan.20th.  It's been 4 years since my surgery - these support group meetings help me stay on track.

But I am getting my LapBand at Christiana on 4/13

I would love to meet fellow Delawarians- although I am  a Philly native - I still appreciate Dela-where? LOL

BTW I am in New Castle- right at the edge of Bear!

Vonetta, you might want to come to the support group mtg, 3rd Tuesday of the month at Victory Fellowship Church on Rt 40, next to the Walmart in New Castle.  Good information and fellowship plus you can be a sponge and absorb our experiences.  Starts at 7pm. Hope to see you there. ((HUGS)) Elissa

I didn't know about this support group!  I was wondering if there was one locally.  I will try to remember to come.  Victory is literally 5 mins from me.
