Thank You Leslie
To Leslie the loser !!! Thank you so much for the inspirational poem and the STAR !! I received it today and I must say it brought tears to my eyes. Reading it has really made me feel so appreciated. It is with honor the star will sit on my dinning room bar where I will look at it everyday and think of the wonderful person who had it mailed to me. I already know who I will pass it on to next month. Debbie and I have been so busy lately. They were suppose to do my roof on Tuesday but due to the weather it was put on today. We had so much going on. This week has been so so busy. Our life is starting to get back to normal and we look so forward to meeting with all up North. I have Christmas Events to do with the kids tonight, Friday , Saturday and Sunday. I will post soon. See you lighter. Joanne
Hi Joanne!
I am so glad you liked the poem...I enjoyed writing it! It was a fun little activity for me. I (actually, all of us at the Victory group) couldn't think of a better person to receive the star! You are VERY DESERVING of it, and we hope it brings you good luck and happiness this upcoming month, and many more months after that! We can't wait to see you at Victory (again, for most of the group, but it will be the first time I will see you there). Hope the weather cooperates!
Today is the last day of work for me...the College (Delaware Tech) closes down for two weeks, so all of us here are very psyched and anxious for the day to come to an end (maybe early, if our bosses are nice...haha!)
I still have some Christmas stuff to do myself...wrapping gifts for my family, and a few more little things to buy. I may even try to make a few things, too (I'm a crafter/scrapbooker.)
I was thinking about you this past Tuesday, and wondering what they were going to do about the roof. I'm not surprised they postponed it; I'm glad they are doing it today...but will the weather get in the way again? Hopefully they can get it done by Christmas. What a fabulous thing to happen! That's just terrific! Congratulations!
I'm glad things are settling down for you. I know having Debbie and the rest of your family around you will make your Christmas bright! I hope you all have a chance to relax and have some fun together.
Take care, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Leslie (the Loser...I'm down about 85 pounds now...yippeeee!!!)
