Tuesday Roll Call

Good Morning Delaware ! It is cold,rainy and windy in Lower Slower Delaware. I hated to send the kids out to meet the bus this morning. They were always very spoiled by Bob. He would take them to school in the mornings for he would say it is to cold for them to wait for the bus. This is the first year since we had guardianship that they had to take the bus to school. They are ok with it but I feel bad. Bob is sleeping this morning. They changed his meds. They really seem to be working well now. He wakes up about 3am, takes some break thru and then sleeps until 6am . He went right back to sleep this morning and is still sleeping. He couldn't eat dinner last night. He choked on everything I tried so he ended up eating jello and pudding and drinking carb countdown chocolate milk.  At least I know he got some protein from that.  I do worry for I know he needs protein. I made a pie last night with rigatta cheese, cool whip, pudding and PB2. I am going to try to give him some of that today. It is full of protein and very tasty. If he has problems with that I am going to pull out the protein powder. I think it will be a nice day for some protein hot chocolate. Hope all has a wonderful blessed day. Stay Dry ! See you lighter. Hi Joanne!

I have been thinking of you and Bob and wondering how you all were doing.   I would love to have the receipe for that pie you made-how much of each indgredient, etc. I need to get some of that hot chocolate as well-I love having hot chocolate on a cold wintery day.

Things have been hectic for me with helping my hubby's Mom every night since her eye surgery. Also, I am limiting any lifting with my arm/shoulder per Drs orders for two weeks.  The anti-inflammatory meds seem to be helping but I am concerned how the pain will be when I come off the meds.

I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A WONDERFUL DAY -even though its cold and rainy!  Debbie

Today is a stay in my jammies day.  It is cold, windy and raining and I woke up this morning with a sore throat.  Just what I need, this Friday is my son's homecoming game and I need to be there since this is his last one.  So I am going to take it easy and not do much and hopefully it will go away.

             I so agree with you...Im having a jammie day too just because i can.  Im sorry your not feeling well hopefully today helps you to rest up.  Im going to do laundry and stuff whoo hoo fun.  My goal is to not leave my house but i do want to make chili and i need a couple thigns for it so i will just slide sweats over my footie pj's ( yes i have a set of those jammies we had as kids with the plastic feet bottoms thats one piece and buttons up).

Deanna, Sorry to hear you are ill. I think today was a jammie day for all that could. Bob slept alot today and so did I. Debbie came down at 4 pm to take the kids to the dentist for me and said she slept alot today too. She woke up when a pinecone hit her house. I am use to the pinecone****ting but Debbie isn't yet.  You would think the pine trees were in the Phillies play off the way they are falling around here. Well I am jealous of all of you who had a jammie day...except Joanne!

Northern NJ   4inches of snow, closed roads, downed trees, lights out...and I worked a 9hr day.  Snow has changed to sleet/freezing rain and life is just miserable!
