Hello from Florida

Hi Debbie,

I did a have great time, and it was really, really hard to come back. I had a premonition that I was coming back to something bad, and my "instinct"? was right...someone smashed out my van's back window while I was gone. I'm guess it was Halloween pranksters. They didn't take anything, though ('cuz there's only junk in my van anyhow).  So now I have to deal with that tomorrow. Ugh! Some welcome home that was!

I didn't see any alligators in Florida. I was thinking about going to a state park that had a few nature trails around some lakes, as well as a beach trail. Then I saw something on TV about that same park (coincidental!), and it showed a sign, "Beware of Alligators" on one of the trails. Since I was by myself, I opted to walk on the beach part of the park, and not go on the nature trails. That was enough to scare me a bit. Especially because the park was empty the day I went.

So, home for now...with lots of (digital) photos to sort through!
