Hi Mandy, your time will be here before you know it! I remember my last weeks before my rny surgery, I was so excited with the anticipation of it all. When my day finally arrived, I had to be at the hospital at 6:30am (meaning a drive around the D.C. beltway in morning rush hour). I got there in the nick of time, only to find my surgery had been rescheduled as my surgeon was handling an emergency case for one of his partners. I almost had a cow, I was so upset, neither his staff nor the hospital had bothered to phone me and save me a 3-hour drive hahahaha. I had made all kinds of arrangements for babysitting, time off work, etc. and that had to be refigured. Man, was I livid. I had no compassion for that emergency patient whatsoever -- I wanted my surgery and I wanted it NOW!!! Thankfully he did fit me in later the same week . . .
And the rest is history.
It is good that you are trying to establish a walking and exercise regimen pre-op. The exercising is something I never made too much of an attempt at . . . and now I am paying the price with regain, and it is hard to get back on track.
I didn't realize Frontier Town was open for Halloween, that sounds like a lot of fun. We have never been there, either.
