Monday Roll Call
Good morning Delaware ! It is a nice fall day in Lower Slower Delaware. I hope all had a great weekend. Today it is back to normal for me. Bob's nurse and aid will be here today so my house will be busy. I have so much to catch up on. My house looks a reck. Where do I start ? I have cleaned my room and the bathroom. Dining room and kitchen next. I did get all the laundry done yesterday so I am ahead there. I.m going to keep this short for I need to get started again. See all lighter. Joanne
Well . . . it's been a Monday, that's for sure. My old dog kept me up most of last night, kept whining to go out, he had a bellyache I think. 3am . . . 4:30am . . . 5:00am . . . finally I gave up and stayed awake, brewed and drank a pot of coffee.
Took kids to school, sat in the cafeteria while they ate breakfast (I like doing that as I get to see how the kids and my son with autism interact, and I get to "model" social behaviors like saying hello and maintaining reciprocal conversations with the other kids for him). If my son had his way, he would choose not to speak to any of the kids, and vice versa.
Got to work and everything that could go wrong did LOL . . . copier out of paper and then jammed . . . computer wouldn't access the files I needed off the server . . . etc. I was going to wor****il 5pm today but bailed at 2:45, my eyes were blurry with eyestrain so I just said to heck with it. New day tomorrow.
Tonite we are having . . . chicken . . . and tomorrow . . . chicken. Not to be confused with the chicken we had LAST night. (That'll be the last time I forget to break up the "family packs" from the meat department. We will be sprouting feathers at this rate any day now.
Bwaaaack-bwaaaaaak!
-BJ trying to muster the energy to go grocery shopping tonite, sigh
p.s. back down to 172.4 this morning from 179 . . . trying to hit 165 by Halloween!

Hello All!
Joanne, when you are done your laundry, you can come up and do mine! lol I just had my sister (she's retarded and lives with me) bring down her laundry and I swear I have at least 5 loads to wash! She has too many clothes.
Yesterday I cooked a pork roast and had pulled pork sandwiches last night and had the rest tonight. One thing my kids just love.
BJ, good luck on your weight loss goal. My short goal for Halloween is also 165, so here's to hoping we reach it!

Monday was kind of busy for me. I first had a nurse appointment at the pain Dr's office in Lewes at 9:45...when I got there and checked in, they said "are you a new patient?" I knew something was wrong because I didn't get a reminder call on Friday like usual. I said, "no, been coming here monthly since July 2006." The lady said, "we have you down for Oct. 8" so I showed her my appointment card. They made a mistake, so they fit me in. As I am waiting to be called, 3 other people go to the window and are told the same thing..."we don't have you down for an appointment today." Someone in there screwed up last month, gave people appointments for the 6th but put them in the computer for the 8th. Oh well....at least they got me in. After that, I had to go to the bank, then to Millsboro to make the Saturn payment, then BACK towards Lewes for my tattoo appointment. Yep, I got my 14th tattoo. A beautiful seahorse on top of my right foot. OWIE, that one hurt. I wasn't done running around and home until after 3pm. Then Alex had his Cub Scout Den Chief duties at the Bayside Community Center at 6:30...he gets a ride home from it so when I got back from dropping him off, I said...UGH...wiped out. I'm done. I fell asleep by 8:30. LOL!
Today will be a little easier. I'm going to the Cafe this morning to work on the tile and grout again, then off to Georgetown for Alex's sports physical at 4:30. I DO get days once in awhile when I don't have to go anywhere or do anything, however few far between.

It was great seeing you on Saturday! The OH event speakers were good...I think the room was a bit too crowded.....I wi**** was in a different setting - outdoors would have been nice. Hotel rooms just don't fit the bill for me. I was glad we were able to get there and sit and listen....
Enjoy the day GF.
