Good Morning Delaware ! The weather is cool but nice in Lower Slower Delaware ! I did break down this morning and turn the heater on for it was cold. $$$$$$  This morning I got up with this surge of energy. The most I have had in months. I did get one of my meds increased so maybe that did it. I don't know but I like it. I hate being tired all the time. Bob is doing good this morning. He ate but is confused why he has a nurse coming. My dog Cuttles on the other hand is not eating again today. I gave her the skin off of chicken the other night which made her sick the next day and now she will not eat. I hope she will eat a little later. She did drink a little water. Tomorrow is the OH Event near Phily. It looks like Debbie R., Debbie D., Amy and I will be car pulling to the event together. It is still not to late for anyone to register on line for $20 with my code ( Hammond08). It is $40 at the door if they have seats available. It is worth going for the free evaluation from the plastic surgeon. He is a great Dr. I have heard him speak before and talked with him. You can really see where his heart is. You don't see that in many. Myself I want to see eggface and melting mama's cooking demo. Bo McCoy is a great speaker too. Everyone will love him. I hope to see all the Delaware people there. If you see me introduce yourself. I'm sure we will be talking about this here on Monday. There is another event  next weekend too. Check it out if you can't make this one. Hope all has a blessed day and a good weekend. See you lighter. Joanne

Good Friday morning to all . . . I just got back from my school meeting. Got several things accomplished, still have a couple more issues but all in all things went our way. The district's special ed director did her best, I feel like she is in our corner. So while I didn't get everything I asked for (my son has mild autism), I did make a lot of headway. Apparently my neon-red-and-yellow hairdo did not detract from the issues at hand LOL.

The irony of all of this is that next week I have a job interview for a part-time position as a parent educator/special ed advocate for our state's Parent Information Center. This is something I used to do as a volunteer in Maryland, so I am qualified -- the issue will be -- can I work this part-time hours around my other job which is also part-time? If they can be flexible with me, I would LOVE to take that on.

I am sitting here drinking my coffee and trying to decide what to do with the rest of my day. I might just take a nap before the heathens get home from school. I was going to go up to the beach and check out the Salvation Army's fall/winter offerings, but apparently they've closed their Route 1 location and haven't found another space yet.  :-(

We have to drive to Salibury this afternoon to the optical place, my son needs glasses so we are going to be picking those out. I will not feel like cooking when I get home, will probably let the kids get something from McD's and I'll order one of their Bacon Ranch salads. I really blew it with bad food choices the last two days so today I'm trying to get back in the groove.

Have a good time in Philly!

BJ, You can always stop over and see me in my crazy world. It might even make yours feel normal. I am always home. That job sounds really good . I hope you can work it out to do both. The thrift store behind jiffy lube and the Beebe one at Midway are open. Check them out. See you lighter. Joanne

Hi everyone.
Friday found me in a terrible rut of not having any energy at all.  I went back to bed 3 times and still felt like I needed more rest. It's the iron deficiency I'm sure.  I did manage to get some small household chores done....easy stuff that doesn't require a lot of physical effort.  I didn't have the stamina to do more than that.  My food choices were good...eggs and sausage for breakfast, tuna for lunch, and chicken for dinner.  I had some crackers with cream cheese for a snack before I went to sleep.  I know I haven't been getting my fluids in over the past week or so.

The Cafe is almost done.  I worked Monday-Thursday on it.  We wanted to be done by Wednesday but as I scrubbed the tile and grout around the fryers and grill to remove built up grease, you could see where I left off.  I knew we had at least 3 more days of tedious, back breaking grout scrubbing to do.  UGGHH.  I refuse to do it half-arsed by leaving it as is.  I am not working again until Tuesday.  I have 2 appointments in Lewes on Monday and one in Georgetown Tuesday afternoon.  Mark isn't real happy but he wants it done right too.  My son-in-law helped Wednesday and Thursday and said he will keep helping me until it's done.  WHEW!  The place looks fantastic though.

A busy weekend is planned with cleaning out the storage unit and finishing the propane tank enclosure.  Longneck Mini-Storage said they would not charge us for October if we surrender the keys before Sunday morning.  We can do that.

I hope you all have fun in Philly Saturday!
