Gall Bladder Surgery post Bypass Question
Hello Delawareans! I am back. It has been a very long time! Anyway I am 2.5 years post-op. Had
g.by-pass. I have lost and maintained 80 pound loss. I still need to go about 10-15 but I am not pushing it. In the last 6 months I have been having sporadic pain in the upper part of my abdomen. It can happen in the center near the sternum or just to the right and most recently a little bit left. Crazy huh? Any way iI have had the nuclear test that they do to look at the gall bladder, an egd to check my bypass, and an ultrasound to look for stones. All were negative execpt for the polyps that they found on my gall bladder and now it is coming out in two weeks.
Now to my question to those that may have had this done for one reason or another. I have read that this can cause weight gain. Has anyone heard or found any truth to this. I sure as hell do not want to put the weight back on.
Any answers would be welcomed!!
Gary
