Friday Roll Call
Good Afternoon Delaware:
I figured something isn't right, since Joanne hasn't posted yet, so please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. She always posts first thing in the morning.
I am at work watching all kinds of people walk around the Dover Mall. My dog is doing better, he was playful and happy when I got home from work yesterday. Now my car is at it's doctor's now. I hope this baby will turn out to be something simple and not expensive. I love my car, I haven't had a car that I like this much since 1986. I have fun in this car, top down wind blowing in my hair and face, it is a freedom that I love and don't want to lose. No plans for me this weekend, it is supposed to be a beautiful weekend, low temps and no humidity. Hope everyone gets a chance to get out there and enjoy it.
Have a great day.

Judy, I was in D.C. all day. It was really nice there. Traffic was not really bad coming back either. I had a really good day. Bob was so much better today and Debbie stayed with him. I thought yesterday I was going to have to cancel my appointment due to Bob's health. My Dr's office is fully aware of my situiation and they do all they can to get me in and out. A friend from work went with me so I got to catch up on everything happening at work. Hope you have a wonderful , relaxing weekend. See you lighter. Joanne
Deanna, I had to go to D.C. today for test results. Thanks for doing Roll Call. All was good with my colonopy but he did tell me my stoma was wide open. That explains alot. He is getting labs to see if the vitron C has brought my iron up and to see if my bacteria over growth has gotten better by taking the antibactic each month. I am going to see Dr. Fennelli. in September to see where to go from here. I did talk to Kenny about options but have to talk to the Dr. First. Hubby is doing much better today. Thanks for your prayers. I hope all works out for you with your puppy and your car. I remember how happy you were when you got it. Please let us know. See you lighter. Joanne
Hi Joanne, I am glad everything with your colonoscopy went well. Also glad to hear that Bob had a good day today. I know what you are going through, Doug's mom is sick and we get no "us" time at all. She also had dementia (sp) which is not fun, she can't remember much these days and is always crying out in pain.
The car is better to the amount of $562.00, they had to replace something that was leaking and flush my engine of the antifreeze that was in it. The dog seems to be doing better also, still debating on whether or not to take him to the vet tomorrow.
Have a great weekend and glad everything is going well today.

she was under hospice care, but they released her and to be honest they didn't do anything for her at all. she just went to the drs and she said there isn't anything else we can do for her. so here we are having to deal with the pain and her not sleeping some nights and getting up wondering around and falling. they won't put her in a nursing home, that would kill her for sure, so Doug who was able to retire early did 10 years ago and he cares for her. the bad part there is he gets stressed and doesn't know how to deal with his stress so he shuts himself down. it is a sad situition for everyone, i just try to be there and support him as much as i can.
Deanna, You are a great one for giving support. Sometimes it helps just someone being there. I would be lost without Debbie. We have Heartland Hospice and they are very good. They will keep Bob in the program for 6 months. If he lives past that , they will renew after that for another 6 months. They did say it is very rare to have to renew but only God knows the answer to that. It is so hard to believe that her Dr. would just let her suffer with everything they have for pain these days. Push for pain meds. My heart goes out to you both for this is one of the hardest things I have had to do in my life. See you lighter. Joanne
