Its been a while. Update on 1st consultation!

Good Morning Delaware.....

Its been a while.. i have been busy and beaching it like Crazy ....

Anywho My 1st consultation with Dr I was on July 24th. Everything went well. He is a Sweetheart! I talked to the insurance specialist as well Carla. Very nice.. She told me that i need to find anywhere from 3-6 months of a diet that i did through weigh****rchers,jenny craig, etc etc... Which i have my journals.. I just need to go through and pull them.. I believe i atleast have 3 months. Once i pull them fax them over to her and get the ok that they are good i can start all my other clearences! I have to attend a 3 month PMRI classes which is 575.00 and NO insurance compaines pay for that is what i was told.. So now i need to put that money down! I hope i can start to get a move on this  asap...

Hey Mandy,

Iragau did my surgery.  I think you'll really be happy with him.  I also had to pay the $$$$ upfront for the classes.  it was $500 a year ago though.  Are you having it done at St. Francis?

Mandy, Glad to see you back.  Hope you had a good vacation.  PMRI must of lowered their charge for they were more than that before. Their meetings are really worth the money. Aftercare is so so important. Hope all works out. See you lighter. Joanne

I'm having my surgery at Christiana, too.  It's set for Oct. 29th.  Dr. Peters is my doctor.  He's part of the same group.  I'm attending 3 classes this month and then have my final clearance exam next month.  I started this process in April and wondered if the time would ever go by.  Now, I'm glad to have taken these last few months and learned as much as possible about what life will be like after the surgery.  Best of luck to you!!!
