possible new daily????

Ok so I Know they are trying to get these boards more active and have seen an increase in my short time here.  anyway  I have a  strange addiction.  I really like readung quotes even more so if things are going to one extreme or the other between good and bad ( more so if things are bad). I have bought a few books of quotes.  I was thinking of posting a different one each day for a  quote  of the day type thing .  If any one thinks this is a really bad idea please let me know I dont want to annoy anyone.   But here is one for today just in case people are ok with it.

I like it!  There was another board that I was active on for a while that used one of those "quote a day" calendars, and just posted the day's quote.

I get the word of the day in my email from the Merriam Webster online dictionary.  My students love it - they know I'm a weird language person - since I'll usually find a way to drop it in conversation that day (I put it on the board).

Go for it!  I've been trying to participate here more myself.

Joanne, I read this board everyday.  I live in Maryland but my doctor is in Delaware so feel like I'm connected to both.  I was hoping this board would become more active.  You are very faithful with your posts.  I'll try to be more active too!!!

Jackie, You were one of them lurkers . LOL ! I am so glad to see you posting and WELCOME ! All boards are for everyone. Please feel free to post all the time. I use to be a lurker here too but since I am not working and staying home to care for my husband  I decided getting this board  active again was going to be my way of keeping in touch with everyone. I run a support group thru OH and I use to go to support groups all the time. Since I can't attend  as many I come here for support.Everyone is like family. I lurk on the Maryland board too and sometimes post. You guys have a hopping board. Come on over to Delaware to a support group too. See you lighter. Joanne
