Tuesday Roll Call
Good day everyone!
Thanks Joanne for the update on Heather-I was thinking about her. I met her at the Support Group meeting and I knew she was very concerned about her surgery. I am glad she is doing better and I pray for her speedy recovery. I am also glad your hubby is better today Joanne.
I have been reading the Maryland forum as well as here since I have lived in Maryland all my life until 3 years ago. I enjoy reading about everyone's experiences and thoughts about WLS. Most of the people on there live across the bridge but they try to meet each other in person and even travel down this way to meet some of the people from this side of the bridge. I saw where several of them met in Ocean City. I think that is great! I would love to meet alot of you ladies in person in Delaware!! How fun would that be to meet each other!
There is a gentleman on the Maryland forum that wrote about each of us being speical and that we shouldn't forget that no matter what size we are. I know I tend to compare myself to the thin person and feel I am not as attractive, etc. But that is not so! I am a outgoing, caring and loving person even tho I am not thin!
I guess I just wanted to remind everyone how special we all are and to appreciate who we are no matter the size.
Again, I love reading this forum- and as Joanne says, please join in with your thoughts and advice!
Have a great Tuesday! Debbie
Those peanut butter cookies did look good, i want to try them too maybe next week......I love PB cookies.
My first night at work was very good......we had no calls all night. The most we did was take the ambulance to the mechanic to get a headlight replaced ( all of 2 minutes ). I go back tonight and your always afraid that you get that one night with nothing the next may be busier than busy. so we did nothing and my alarm went off at 0630 I got up to get ready to go home and day shift walked in and before they could both get clocked in the pager went off and they were on the way to Kent to pick up someone and i was on my way home. we will see what happens when i go in tonight at 7.
Im gonna do a little cleaning then i hopefully i can take a nap before work.
I hope everyone stays cool its hot out there.
Hope everyone is doing well......
Joanne, I will post my recipes that I got off of foodtv.com for the zucchini bread with and without the chocolate chips from Paula Dean. I also got this awesome honey mustard bbq sauce from there from Rachel Ray. These were all with sugar or brown sugar but I used the Splenda or the brown sugar Splenda. Everything was awesome. The zucchini cakes I made I made like I was making crab cakes but where they called for crab I used the grated zucchini. Everything was so awesome. I just love to cook so any time I can get in the kitchen I am beside myself. I am eating healthier and better then I have in a long time.
Have a great day.
Deanna
Christ in you the hope of Glory!!!!
