Cathy, Welcome to the world at the beach. I bet none of them complainers were local people. It amazes me how visitors come here and complain.Thats why we locals are glad when they all go home. You would think they own everything down here. I must say I don't agree with their no sharing rule. I share all the time with my husband or Debbie. Would they let them share if they had a resturant card? I understand no sharing at a buffet. Does your resturant honor the WLS resturant card for kids meals and prices? Do they have a senior menu with smaller portions ? Just curious !!!!  Hope today is a better day for you. See you lighter. Joanne

I figure it this way---if you want to share the food you ordered, that's fine but if you request an extra place setting and cup of ice to share the drink, I have to charge for those items.  The cost of the place setting is figured into the price of the meal so if you don't buy the meal , we lose on the dishes.  The owner is NOT a charitable type...God forgive him him for his greed, however, it -is- a business for profit and if we just give stuff away,  it cuts into the profits.  He definately would not honor a WLS restaurant card,  and I have yet to find one between here and Michigan that does serve the needs of gastric bypass patients.  We don't have a senior menu but what we offer is versatile enough that a senior or bypass patient can get just one egg or a small breakfast of one egg, one pancake, and one meat or just a sandwich and nothing else.  Our kids menu is limited to under age 10.  Our prices are competitive as well.  The place is still trying to recover from a reputation of being a beach concession stand-type dive for so many years, despite the new ownership,  remodeling,  and more upscale feel.  And like I said, the former owners just doled stuff out to the whiners to shut them up so they keep coming back expecting freebies now.  Today was a better day....much slower and no whining "tour-ons".
