Hi all!!!  I know this is a crazy question....but.....here goes nothing.....have any of you ever heard of any plastic surgeons doing pro bono work for WLS patients?  I need a whole body lift, and there's no way I can afford that - ever.  So....I was hoping..... Thanks!!!!

Cathy, sign me up too. I'd like the whole circumference lift. I know a couple of people that have had it done very successfully. Mega $$$$. I also need the breast reduction. Wow!!   My legs are okay and my arms I can live with.  I guess this old saggy body will have to do for now. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Just think when we are older will anyone say...wow look at the old gal with the perfect fat stomach....I bet not!  So I think I will put up with the loose skin and wrinkles then when I am old I will already be use to it!  LOL.   I don't want anymore pain in my life and plastic surgery equals pain. Cathy, No question is crazy !!! But if we knew of one we would all be in line. I know someone who went from a size 8x mens and now has a 32 waist. He even tried extreme makeover with no luck. He was self pay for his RNY. Hey who knows someone might be lucky someday. Maybe a plastic surgeon will need a model. I bet anyone would do it for a free job but I think they have enough paying patients for that too. I guess we will all grow old and wrinkled together as part of our journey. Take care. See you lighter. Joanne

If you check out the www.psjourneys.com website, there is a heading there about "teaching schools" where they will perform plastic surgery cheaply but under the supervision of an established and experienced surgeon . . . the cavaet is you have to schedule your surgery months in advance. I can't even afford to get anything I need done at one of these places, sigh. -BJ

Has anyone thought about Mexico?  Michelle, aka Eggface, did hers there and she looks pretty darn good!
