Good morning Delaware. My day has started off bad. I had to go to Georgetown this morning and hit a dear or you could say he hit me. It messed up my passenger door  ( knocked the window out,))My headlight casing and my left fender. I think his head came thru  the window for it shadered glass all in my car,. I'm glad I didn't have a passenger. I received a couple of cuts on my face. Nothing serious. I am so sick over my car. I could of just pulled over and cried. Hope the rest of the day is better. I'm going to trade my car in for this See you lighter. Joanne

Oh Joanne, this is terrible, what a horrible start to your day. I am so glad you weren't seriously injured. I hit a deer in Maryland this past winter and it did a ton of damage to my vehicle -- and I was only going about 20mph!!! We are having a not-so-great morning here as well. My mother forgot to give my son his insulin shot before bedtime last night (I was at work) so this morning he woke up with very high blood glucose levels, headache, nausea and ketones in his urine, which is potentially life-threatening. We have worked all morning to get his levels back to normal range just now, thank goodness. I don't think I could have stood another weekend up at Beebe hospital. But I am so stressed out, I feel like I am never going to be able to trust anyone with my son's care. Every time I leave the house *something* happens UGH!!! On a lighter note, the scale showed a bit of a loss this morning . . . WOOOOTTTT!!! Here's to hoping our afternoons are better, huh?! -BJ

BJ, I really feel like today was a day from Hell ! What could go wrong did. I had a funeral to go to in Middletown. Had to find a new babysitter at the last minute but someone came thru.  I had trouble eating today but I did do a couple packs of hot chocolate in my coffee. Tomorrow will be a better day for us all. Remember one day at a time. Congradulations on the scale moving. I knew you could do it. Your positive attitude shines thru. once we go to the bottom there is no where to go but up. Just think of how far we can go. I admire the people who had all the life skill classes before surgery. We didn't get them and I feel we did the best we could with what we knew. We are not failures. You are not a failure until you give up trying.  We will both work hard. We can do it. We will keep our heads up high and be proud of how far we came. Set backs are part of learning. Everyone's journey is different and should not be compared. Hope all is ok with your son now . You have a very tough job but God knew you were special and could handle it. See you lighter. Joanne
