Wednesday Roll Call

Good morning Delaware ! And I do mean morning . What is everyone up to this fine day. Not much going on in lower, slower Delaware. , Hubby is having a bad night so I am up with him. I have started laundry , emptied the ice cube trays and just enjoyed looking at my clean kitchen and dining room. Yesterday I did use a little to much bleach and ruined some curtains. They were blue and white check and now they are purple and white. . Guess it is time for new ones. Debbie laughed and said " Ma what did you do ?" " They were your good curtains ". I also kind of tye dyed a pair of Alexus's favorite pants. She didn't see them yet. Debbie said she wanted to be here when she did. I have to admit i was tempted to throw them in the trash before she sees them but hey life goes on.. It ain't the end of the world. They are only pants and curtains. Well it is time to put the cloths in the dryer and check on hubby. No bleach this time ! LOL!!! See all lighter. Joanne

Hi Joanne, You may have beat me to the board but not in getting up!  I fell asleep before 8:30 last night and was up and having coffee before midnight.  Stayed up till 2:15a.m., then was back up by 4:45a.m. for more coffee and to get ready for work.  Like you, I put my whites in the washer and they are drying now. (my work shirts are white and I need a fresh one today).  I'm still waiting for my chairs to be delivered....they got held up in Baltimore the other day due to the thunderstorms they were having there.  The chairs should be here by the end of the week.  Tomorrow, Ed will leave right after work to spend the weekend at Henson with the scout troop for the tail end of their summer camp week.  I have to work the whole weekend so I will be busy enough.  What's everyone else doing??

Kathy, I have to say I am not looking forward to this weekend with all the traffic.  I know to get everything done today for the stores and all will get busy tomorrow. I like going to Harris Teeter in the morning. They have great buys on reduced produce then. I think I'll go shopping after the meeting tonight. Hope your chairs get here and you have a great weekend. I took my sis and her best friend to the airport they are going on a weekend cruise out of miami . I am helping her husband with the kids since he goes into work really early and sometimes stays really late. Tomorrow im taking my 3 nephews(2,4,9) and my 11 yr old sister to killens pond for the day...i have a  lot of tylenol .LOL It should be fun.  I haven't been sleeping so I was just going to bed at 4am this morning and some of you all were starting your day. Today was a good day!  I went to the Sleep Dr's office first thing - Got great news and then went to work....I found that the men in that place are very whiney and not willing to help each other....amazing we are suppose to be a team and they whine at me about each other.   Tomorrow I am off to the beach - I am looking forward to just hearing the ocean roar!   Lost another pound this week!  I hope we can continue to do this for awhile!   Maybe I should bring my curtains to your house - they need to be cleaned - and tied dye would be cool. Debbie, What beach are you going to?  Debbie and I want to take Bob next week to my Brother's campsite in Virginia. for a day. He loves to fish and maybe can go out for a couple of hours. It's a little late in the day to join the roll call, but I'm gonna! I woke up late and missed breakfast, but I made up for it when I went to lunch at Harry's with my mom.  We had some fancy eats then went shopping - I got a new pair of shorts (size 4) and a new top (size M) before I hit the bookstore to get something to read.  My DD came home after an 11 day vacation with her other grandparents - boy, did I miss her!!!  We're going to have us a girl's day tomorrow, just hanging out at home, watching some cartoons, and maybe hitting the pool in the afternoon.  Life is good when you're 7 and on summer vacation.  Pretty good when you're 38 on summer vacation, too Hope everyone enjoyed their day, and that tomorrow is just as fun!
