Monday Roll Call

Good Morning Delaware ! Back to work for most of us ! I am still on FML so I am here at home. It is suppose to rain here in lower slower Delaware. When you live here you always like Mondays in the summer. Traffic gets better and stores aren't as busy. You learn to do everything Monday thru Thursday real fast unless you like standing in line. Alexus is going to the beach this morning with Debbie and her company and Robert is at his Mom's until tonight so I will be kidless. I hope it doesn't rain until they return from the beach. I still have lots of cleaning  and dejunking to get done. . It is so much easier to get it done while the kids are gone. My kitchen really looks nice. My hard work last week shows. Today it will be on to another room. Well I have to go make hubby breakfast so Have A Blessed Monday. See you lighter. Joanne

I am back at work today from the long weekend and busy family life.  the funeral was very nice and then on Sunday we switched to wedding mode and had my sister's bridal shower.  I ate all weekend, but made sure I had alot of protein, fruits and veggies and little carbs.  Overall it was a very nice time! I need to get busy here at work, as we are very, very busy with the holiday week upon us!

Hello I'm here . . . having another good day with the food and activity . . . actually I have stayed busy all day on the phone putting out fires. I have a son with autism and there is always something that needs to be done, whether it's fighting an insurance appeal or arguing with the school about what he needs, etc. I walked around the neighborhood at a brisk pace last night and plan to do so again tonite, except THIS TIME I will put some repellant on. Last night I was eaten alive by the Delaware state bird (aka mosquitoes). It keeps looking like its gonna rain . . . thunder in the distance . . . but we got nothin! -BJ

BJ , I was coming in from route 1 about an hour ago. It started to sprinkle but stopped. I give you all the credit in the world for fighting for your son ! I know it is a constant battle. I have a neice who has downs syndrome. My grandparents lived on a farm in Marydel and took care of handicap kids. My cousin has the farm now and still takes care of handicap kids. My husband was always good at giving them lots of attention. . He would dance,sing ,clap or whatever they could do. He loves working with handicap kids and elderly.  Hope you got all worked out for today anyway . That's what I like about walking the boardwalk. NO BUGS BUT REAL BIRDS  and a breeze off the ocean. WOw....Im still at home I am out on fmla  from my RNY until the end of july, due to my job requirements.  Today i actually got motivated and cleaned up my living room...i  had an incentive my friend is coming over and i havent seen her since before my surgery.  Im steady getting bored and am not sure what im going to do for another month???  I have some things around home i need to do but  a lot of it takes more physical things that i cant do yet .   I

Amy, Take it easy and listen to your Dr. Company is always an incentive to clean. I am home right now due to my husband's health. I am trying to keep busy and get my house back under control. I didn't realize how bad it was until I started. I did the kitchen last week and have moved onto the dining room today. Do what you can , when you can. See you lighter. Joanne

Yes its back to work but its a short week so it won't be too bad. I am so sun burned from yesterday, my legs had sharp pains this morning.  It got better as the day went on.  Had a dentist appt today, "look Ma, no cavities!" One day down, three to go...

i dont know whats goin on with me today, but i slept all day. i havent been feeling well at all with the gyn issues im having. im feeling totally drained and kinda slow. i dont know. well i have sooo much to do and i just cant get motivated and NOONE is helping at all. kids arent listening, noone will help.  i could scream. im supposed to go to nj for the 4th. were taking a friend of mine with us and i have to have everything done pretty much by tomorrow. i have class all day on wednesday and group wednesday night in long neck (REMEMBER WERE HAVING A CLOTHING EXCHANGE!!!!) thursday i have class and then were leaving. and tomorrow i have class to but i dont think im going to go. i have a drs apt at a gyn hopefully they will help me. im ready and prepared for a hystorectomy if thats whats needed. and im supposed to go into the night class since i cant make my regulay class but theirs just soooo much to do here i dont know if i can. the house is a mess, i have tons of laundry to do...uggh.
