Have you ever felt like this when you look at your blessings ? Sometimes we need to stop and just look around. We have so much to be grateful for but sometimes we complain so much we don't see the blessings and things to be grateful for. I have been guilty of this myself ! I am going to try to do better at this each day myself.  How about you ? What are you grateful for today? What blessings do you have today ? I will post mine tonight.  I look forward to reading yours ! See you lighter. Joanne

joanne, you are so right. with everything going on in our lives its very easy to loose sight of what we have. so as i  sit here and think of everything wrong in my life i had to step back and look for things that im greatful for. i am greatful  for my children (even though they dont listen, lol) my family, my friends, and my health (now that im finally getting it back!)

Never criticize someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes; that way when you do criticize them, your a mile away and you have their shoes!

Heather, From your other post I knew this would hit home with you !Keep your chin up !! Tomorrow is another day. Oh let me keep my promise and do my post . It is the end of the day. I am most grateful today for one more day with my husband ! Today was a bad day for him. I made him a paper weight to put by his bed with our picture in it. He asked   me to put it in his coffin by his heart. . He said he feels he is getting weaker each day.  I could see the tears in his eye.  I listened and hugged him but then I had to leave the room.. I am also grateful that Debbie went to church with us yesterday. I am grateful my grandson doesn't have his sister's mouth. He will blow your mind sometimes with what he says sometimes. He has such a kind heart. and when she trys to be mean to him , he is so nice to her. He knows how to work that " Kill them with kindness " thing. Unbeleavable !!! .  Well tomorrow is another day ! All are welcome to do a post or else you will have to listen to my boring stuff. Take care and see all lighter. Joanne

Judy, I must agree. I try to look at things positively too. I feel you can always find something good in every person. For some you just have to dig a little deeper.See you lighter. Joanne

Hey Debbie, Are you feeling better? Whats going on in Claymont? Hubby is having a bad night so I am up with him. I am taking care of myself but I am dealing with emotional eating issues. One day at a time. How is Tim?  See you lighter. Joanne

Sorry to hear your husband had a bad night.  The emotional eating comes with dealing with a hospice situation for sure.  Dealing with them is a good thing.  Tim is doing well I guess.  He is getting tired of being my chaueffer.....since the illness I haven't been able to drive but like you I am trying to do things one day at a time.  Its hard but not impossible. Debbie

Debbie, I can not even imagine Tim  getting tired of being your chaueffer. He is always so supportive and loves spending time with you. Your love for each other shines thru like a shining star. Who did you have with Grammy ? We have Heartland Hospice. I didn't even know there was more then one until Bob was put in their care. They are very good to deal with. Pray with me for the next 10 weeks that we get to go on our cruise. We sail September 7th. Bob being the jokster he is said he will die at sea and we can save funeral exspenses by throwing him overboard. I told him don't joke for he wouldn't be the first. People are known to disappear on cruises.See you lighter. Joanne

We used Delaware Hospice - they were very good too.  So how are you cruising with hospice?  Do you have to go off their program for that week and rejoin when you get back?  I was going to go to NJ with Gram but they would not let me be in two places and keep her meds going.  Although she refused alot of the meds.  I wish I was like her - I just hate pain.  Where are you cruising to?  I hope things work as planned.  Be good.
